Orders & Production
Can I order more than what's shown in stock?
The stock numbers are soft caps, not hard limits. If you need more than shown, reach out via the Custom Order form and I’ll confirm lead time. I’ve never turned down a reasonable request.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes - and honestly, custom orders are some of my favorite work. Colors, finishes, and variations on existing designs are easy starting points, but if you have something specific in mind, I’d love the chance to make something you had a hand in creating. Entirely new subject matter or new mediums are evaluated case by case - I’m one person with one pair of hands, after all. Use the Custom Order page to start the conversation. Custom work generally adds time to production, but we’ll hash out the details so you know exactly what to expect before anything gets started.
Can I request a color that isn't listed?
If it’s a variation on something I already mix, it’s usually a simple conversation and won’t add any time to your order. If you’re dreaming of rainbow polka-dots or metallic mint green - I love the ambition, but that becomes a custom order. Use the Custom Order page and we’ll talk it through.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Close - but not identical. Because each piece is a unique, hand crafted item, there will be some slight variations in texture, color depth, and patina. It will not match the photos perfectly - and honestly, would you want it to? You will have an individual and special item.
Can I see a photo of my piece before it ships?
Absolutely - just leave a note when you place your order and I’ll send one along before it heads out. Not for approval, just so you can see exactly what’s coming your way and get appropriately excited.
Can I have my order shipped directly to someone as a gift?
Yes - just enter their address at checkout and leave a note with any message you’d like included. I’ll tuck a handwritten gift note in with the order and leave out any pricing or paperwork. I don’t gift-wrap, but the packaging is presentable enough to hand over as-is.
Materials & Finishing
What is cold-casting?
Cold-casting is a technique where real metal powder - bronze, brass, aluminum, and other metals - is mixed directly into resin before it cures. The result is actual metal that polishes, ages, and develops character like a traditional metal casting. It’s not paint. It’s not plating - electroplating deposits a micro-thin film of metal that can wear through with handling. My cold-cast pieces are metal through and through: the powder is mixed into the entire casting, roughly 50% by composition. That’s why they carry real weight in the hand, why they can be burnished and waxed like foundry bronze, and why they slowly deepen in tone as they age instead of chipping or flaking. Once cast, each piece is detailed, burnished, hand-polished, and waxed to bring out the metal surface.
Are cold-cast metal pieces heavier than regular resin?
It depends on the metal. The solid pieces are roughly 50% metal powder by composition, so there’s real heft to them - but different metals have very different weights. Bronze is the heaviest, brass is close behind, and aluminum is light enough that it won’t feel dramatically different from a full-resin piece. As for cold-cast gold - let’s just say if I ever offer that, you’ll know by the price tag.
What's the difference between Glossy and Matte finish?
Glossy has a polished, lacquered surface - colors are rich and saturated, with a sheen that makes every detail pop. Matte has a dry, naturally aged appearance - think freshly turned earth, or something pulled from the back of a forgotten cabinet. As an example, a Skull sculpture painted in Fresh Grave Brown with a Matte finish will look like it just clawed its way out of the earth. Neither is wrong - it depends on the mood you’re after.
Care & Use
How do I care for my piece?
Hand wash only, using mild soap and warm water. No harsh cleaners, no rough brushes, and please - not the dishwasher. Treat it the way you’d treat your wedding china, or anything else you actually want to keep looking good. A gentle hand and a soft cloth is all it needs.
What hardware is included with a cabinet knob?
Each knob is drilled and tapped to fit a #8-32 machine screw - that’s the industry standard size for cabinet and drawer knobs, and the only thread size that will fit. I include a 1¼" #8-32 screw, which works with most cabinet and drawer depths. If you need something slightly shorter or longer, just leave a note when you order and I’ll swap it out. You can also find #8-32 screws in many lengths at any hardware store. The #8 refers to the screw diameter, 32 refers to the thread count - standard stuff, nothing exotic.
If you need a different thread size altogether, reach out - I’ve accommodated other sizes before and can usually make it work. And if you’d prefer the knob undrilled so you can do the tapping yourself, just ask.
For anyone drilling their own cabinet hole, a 3/16" drill bit is what you want.
How do I install a cabinet/drawer knob?
Cabinet knobs use a standard machine screw, which is included. Most cabinet and drawer fronts have a pre-drilled 3/16" hole - the screw passes through from the back and threads into the base of the knob. If yours isn’t pre-drilled, a 3/16" drill bit and about two minutes is all that stands between you and a significantly more interesting kitchen.
Are your bottle stoppers food-safe?
The sculpted topper itself never comes in contact with your wine - it sits on top of the stopper mechanism, well above the bottle opening. The stopper is chrome-plated with a flexible silicone seal. One note: prolonged contact with liquid may cause corrosion or pitting on the chrome, so don’t store bottles on their side with liquid touching the stopper.
What size bottles do your stoppers fit?
The stoppers are sized for standard corked wine bottles with an 18.5mm opening, and will fit bottle openings between 5/8" and 3/4" diameter. Sparkling wine, Champagne, and liquor bottles have wider openings and won’t be a good fit - though liquor bottle stoppers are coming soon.

What's your return policy?
Every piece in this shop is made by hand, to order, specifically for you - which means it isn’t sitting on a shelf waiting to be restocked. Because of that, I don’t accept returns or exchanges as a general rule.
That said, I’m a real person who wants you to love what you receive. If something arrives damaged, send me a photo within 7 days and we’ll make it right. If you have any other issue with your order, reach out - I’d rather work something out than have an unhappy customer out there in the world.
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase, provided production hasn’t already begun. Custom orders are non-refundable once work starts.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Every piece is made to order, just for you. Production takes 3–7 business days, after which your order heads straight to the post office. I’ll send a tracking number the moment it ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at the moment - US shipping only. When that changes, this page will be the first to know.
