Description
The standard wine stopper is forgettable. This one gets left on the counter on purpose.
Each skull is cast from my original hand-sculpted mold at 1:5 anatomical scale – 1.3 inches tall – then painted by hand and mounted on a chrome-plated stopper with a flexible silicone seal. Available in 10 colors with your choice of glossy or matte finish.
Here’s how the finishes differ: Matte reads as aged and naturalistic – like something pulled from an apothecary shelf. Glossy is polished and vivid, more showpiece than artifact. Both are excellent.
Fits: Standard corked wine bottle openings (18.5mm / 5⁄8″–3⁄4″ diameter). The silicone seal keeps wine fresh after opening.
Care note: Prolonged contact with liquid may cause corrosion or pitting. Do not store bottles on their side with liquid touching the stopper.
