Description
A small brass skull for the fridge door. It is 1.3 inches tall, cast at one fifth of life size from a skull I sculpted by hand.
Brass runs warm. Against a white or stainless door it is the one golden note in the room, and it deepens toward antique brass over the years. The brass goes all the way through. Real brass powder is mixed into the entire casting, so it looks and feels like solid metal. The strong magnets set into the flat back hold it to a refrigerator or any steel surface.
This is metal casting with the heat taken out. The brass powder goes into liquid resin, poured into a mold made from my original sculpt, and every piece is then finished by hand.
Yours is made after you order it, so it will differ a little from the photographs. You will have an item that is entirely your own.
A skull on the fridge gets noticed by everyone who opens the door. It also makes an odd, memorable gift for a gothic or dark academia friend who is impossible to shop for.
The photographs show all three finishes side by side, which is the easiest way to choose between them. What you are buying here is the brass magnet alone. The aluminum and the bronze are their own listings.
All magnets are made to order and take 3 to 7 days to produce.
Need more than shown in stock? Get in touch. I can accommodate larger quantities, just allow additional lead time beyond the standard 3 to 7 days.
